[R129 SL] fuel light blinking then serv engine light

Recently my local repair guy and I were discussing an exact similar  set of 
symptoms on a 97 S500 Coupe.  It turned out that a sensor in the  fuel tank was 
bad.  You should give him a call.  His name is Ken at  Morview
