[R129 SL] Re: OIL TUBE FAILURE

The oil tubes that deliver oil to the heads is
what I'm talking about. They are made
out of plastic.

I've had an ongoing problem with them.
The dealer says "this is not an uncommon
occurrence with this motor"   Has anyone
else had this potentially fatal engine issue ??

FYI  : this happpened at 70-K to a
PAMPERED '95 SL -500  that has
been on Mobil-1 from the day it
was born with oil changed every
4-K.
