Hi,

I live in Seattle where I work as a web site designer - a career change
after a lifetime of work as a Baker and Bakery Administrator.
For me photography is a totally personal experience. I do it because I love it.
I go on shooting trips to get away from the City and the noise, etc.
I always go alone. I sometimes will sell a print but mostly I make them for
my walls and as gifts for friends, etc. No one ever tells me what to shoot
or how to shoot it. That would be too much like having a job. :)
Virtually all my work is done on the Olympic Peninsula - either in the Hoh
Rain Forest or on the Pacific Ocean beaches.
I shoot either 5x7 or 8x10 depending on how far I have to carry the equipment.
I use a Wisner 5x7 Lightweight and a Deardorff 8x10 battle-scarred beauty.
My lenses are all in Barrel mount and consist of either a 18 or 24 inch Red
Dot Artar or a Turner-Reich Triple Convertible which I bought from Steve
Grimes about four years ago.
I do all contact printing in my studio/bathroom, either on AZO paper or
Luminos/Kentmere for Bromoils.
If interested, I have a web site of some of my stuff at
www.tmicklin.com
