Kate,
[sheep-color-genetics] on yahoo discusses color genetics, although it's
not specific to Jacobs.Most of the breeds mentioned are not Ed, so you
have hunt through for information related to Jacob color genetics. There
is some relevancy (maybe) to lilacs in discussions on the Black/brown
gene. There just happened to be a discussion recently on Ed. I found it
interesting to read that many breedswork hard to eliminate the Ed gene
as it hides the agouti patterns which many breeds prize.
