We have had Pyrs with our Jacobs for as long as we have had our flock.
In 14 years, we have never lost a flock member to any predator.

The two dogs that we currently have came from Bountiful Farm in AR, and
at that time Dan and Paula worked with rescue and also bred Pyrenees.
Due to health issues, they are no longer doing either (I believe),
however, they have a huge amount of information on their website that is
very helpful.

We currently have a full Pyr that came to us at a pup, along with a Pyr
mix adult from Bountiful Farm. Clyde was bonded to Essie (rescue) when
they arrived here. They have been a fine team for us and replaced our
beloved Cheyenne and Sebastian (both adult rescues) that preceded them.

If you are bringing in a young dog on its own, bear in mind that
supervision and correction are very important. For those of us that are
away from our farms for extended hours working other jobs, that can be a
challenge.

For as long as I have sheep, I will have dogs with them.
