Hi, 
 Anyone have any info on tanning hides at home ?. We had a ram die and we
have the pelt . I have it hanging in the barn vertically . It's still below
freezing here so it's frozen stiff . I'd like to preserve it best I can .
Can't afford to send it out. I have some instructions from a book but they
are sketchy . Anyone out there with some first hand experience ?
