[Jacob-list] "Exotic" Jacob Sheep in canned hunt

To me, it's also not that much different from the stress for a sheep
that goes to slaughter. As far as it being hunting? You got to be
kidding!! When the killer (can't really call him the hunter) said "I
love this sport", I was wondering just where the sport was. The ram was
aware of the hunters and didn't run - just kept walking towards them to
see who/what they were. Haven't yet had a deer walk up to me in the
woods to see what I was doing.
I found it interesting that the ram was considered such an incredible
trophy. He really didn't have very large horns for what looked to be his
age.
He also didn't appear to a ram that I'd want to use on my flock. I don't
think I'd turn down a good price for him to go to a canned hunt if he
was my ram.
I sold an excellent proven ram to a man that said he was raising sheep
and wanted my best ram and he paid a premium price. I later found out
that he wanted him to butcher for a religious holiday. Talk about furious!
