I'm not Joy, but I'll jump in anyway. I don't know what the weather is like where Neeets (oops, Anita :-)) is, but here in north Georgia, it's warm, humid, and the sheep are getting pretty uncomfortable in their fleeces. About a week ago, they started rubbing on tree stumps, fence braces, whatever. This may not be the same thing as Anita is describing, but around here it's pretty weather, not lambing related. Hopefully the shearer will be here next week!
