[Jacob-list] tuft - no sued

  A few years ago I had a lamb with a "tuft" above it's one eye -- when I closely examined the eye I discovered that what I was seeing was actually a clump of longer hair, but no split in the eyelid and no other obviously deformity.  It appear that this tuft of hair just simply was programmed to grow much longer than the rest of the hair around it.  I didn't intervene, the lamb didn't seem to mind,  and the lamb eventually was sold.......still sporting a little tufty curl that kind of curled out over the eye.
