[Jacob-list] beets ?

Hi Group ,
   Been out of contact for awhile ...finally coming up for air . Recently
read that beets and chard were poisonous for sheep ...anyone heard of
that one ? I have been planning to root-store tons of root vegetables
this year to offset my feed costs next winter and " mangles' were going
to be a big part of that . Anybody got any input on that ? Donna in
