Sorry, Christopher, I thought I sent my message to the whole list, so I resent this.

Hi everyone, I will add my two cents, I swear by my gilded Llama and --- my GP. Our Llama was abused when we got him and we had to wait till he was old enough to guild him. He hums to the girls, especially the babies, he checks them all as babies, and mothered a lamb that was orphaned at 6 weeks. He is the greatest.

Those of you that remember me, my older GP, Emma, died this Spring and two weeks ago, I finally found a new girl. She was a rescue dog, the people didn't know they
"got so big". I have never gotten a 9 month old "pup" before, but we are getting to know each other, and set boundaries. I live on the Nisnabotna River in Mills County Iowa, so I do need both, and they both do their jobs.

I fully recommend Llamas with Jacobs. They make great pictures. I had a Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting this last week for my small wool processing, felting, weaving, spinning lesson studio, to include a gift shop. The girls and boys as well as the Llama posed for everyone, and the "town" people could not believe that the "hair" went from those animals, through the machines and made garments.
It was fun.

I know many of the folks on this list ustilze GP as defenders of their flock. Recently, I was asked about taking on a couple of llamas that are not of show quality, but with great dispositons and not good breeder material. Has anyone used llamas and what are the drawbacks and advantages of llamas with Jacobs?
