Wow Linda, that is quite a story.
My daughter has several LLamas guarding her
Nigerian Dwarf goats and they had not been guard
llamas before. One really worked out and the other
did not want to have anything to do with the goats,
but she had an agreement with the llama provider that
she could exchange for another trial llama and she has
worked out, so that is 2 out of 3.
My daughter was told that a female that has had a
cria, preferably on your property is the best guard
animal because of the territorial reaction that
happens at birth. Victoria
