So sorry to hear of your loss -- always heart
breaking to lose lambs.
I have not had this problem with my jacobs - they
are jugged - but the pens are quite large - 4 x 6
I have known some suffolk breeders that have
spoken of this -- all my jacobs in the past 4
years of lambing  know as soon as their
lambs are born and are excellent mothers -
did you think the lambs were still born or
was there some sign of movement or were
they licked off ? Was their sack extremely thick
that they could have drowned ?
