[Jacob-list] Tails (or Heads?)

I haven't been at this Jacob Sheep thing for so many years, so we'd have to 
ask the old-timers to know for sure, but I was always under the impression that 
the "hock" was a ballpark length to distinguish from the short tail 
breeds--not a nit-pickey line.  Perhaps it could be said that a docked tail was itself 
evidence of breed standard in that it indicates that the sheep is not a "short 
tail."
