Trimming off excess teats is a cosmetic operation for most part unless you
plan on milking the animal with a milking machine. I would NOT use this as a
selection criterion for rams. There may be a general trend toward extra
teats as an indicator of prolific. Finns often have extra teats, and if they
produced adequate milk, they would need them.
