[Jacob-list] Culling Ewes

I have culled by selling (savy breeders ask why you are willing to part
with such an incredible animal for x price..), and by slaughtering.  My
criteria for keeping sheep would vary from the next breeder's criteria.
Sometimes the points that I am wanting to cut back on in my flock
(including genes) are just the ones that another breeder is looking to
enhance in their flock.  If there is a trait that is genetically faulty
and likely to be passed on to succeeding generations, the animal is
slaughtered.  Adults are tasty too.
