Hi Newbie sheep owner here. I have recently acquired 3 Jacob sheep , 3
ewes , one ram ,all 2yrs old all related thru the same ram sire . The 2
ewes seem fine , the ram came down with a very bad cough . I had the vet
out and he wormed them all and gave the ram a massive dose of antibiotic .
The cough has eased a bit . We only hear it occasionally . He otherwise
eats well and runs around real good .
  Questions : 1. How often should one worm them . I have bought "
Tramisol" and want to start a regular regime . His poops are still
clumpy.
              2. I have read that the ewes come into heat in the fall ,
but the woman who gave me the sheep disputes that . I have
obsearved no amorous
activity as yet . What is the truth , fall or just anytime ?
