[Jacob-list] itchy skin

I have one ewe who, every year, begins to shed in late January or early
February. She begins to look like a ragged waif with long strands of wool
hanging from her. She has no skin problems, it is just something she does.
She doesn't shed completely out, at shearing time you can't tell that there
is any wool missing, but it looks like she will go bald when she has all
that ragged wool hanging around. I think there was a discussion on this
list some time ago about this being a trait of some Jacobs....anyone out
there with a better memory than mine? (probably just about everyone! LOL)
