<< Both of us were bored to tears until the cavemen went hunting and tried to
catch a JACOB RAM! He was gorgeous, and much smarter than the cavemen...
Maybe we should think of auditions for some of our guys?>>

What a timely comment! My husband, a computer programmer, used to work with
a young guy who had connections with an Atlanta rock band. He got to talking
with him about our sheep and chickens. He was intrigued, and they ended up
filming a music video in our barn. They had shots of the chickens in the
video, but no sheep. This was about 2 years ago. A lamb was born sometime
later that night, perhaps prompted by the hours of loud rock music the mom
had to listed to all day.

A couple of months ago, the band called back, asking if they could use our
animals again. So this time, our yearling 4 horned Jacob ram, Charles, and 3
roosters made a trip to a sound stage in Atlanta for his acting debut. I
missed the big event, as I was out of town, but my husband told me that
Charles did not suffer at all from stage fright, and played his part of
standing on a bed (?) just fine, as long as there was some grain up there to
keep him interested.

The group has a website, http://myssouri.com. If you go to
http://myssouri.com/see.htm, you'll see some pictures of our roosters on
stage, and at http://myssouri.com/listen.htm, click on "The Floorless Jig"
and you can hear the song that will bring Jacob sheep to MTV. So far there
are no pictures of him on the website that I could find. I'll keep you
posted on his promising music/film career.
