[Jacob-list] breeding lambs

I don't breed my lambs: 13 year old girls can conceive but that doesn't mean it is the best deal to encourage them to. I realize that sheep aren't people, but most of the time, when I hear of problems with birthing or mothering, it's those teenaged sheep who are having the problems.  I like to give them a year to grow out and get acclimated to the world before worrying about having lambs.  Seems to work: haven't lost a lamb in five years.
