[Jacob-list] genetics

My experience with genetics this year has been interesting, but
disappointing. I crossed my two jacob/cormo ewes (who look like jacobs)
with a double registered white romney ram who carries the colored gene.
He is pure white; his twin was pure black. I had hoped for a lamb with
jacob spots in the mix. One of my ewes had a false pregnancy. The other
had twins. One twin is pure white and one is black with white v on
forehead and a white spot on right cheek. Thier heads are jacob-esque
but they will have more of their sire's height. They are beautiful lambs
with beautiful fleece, which is great for my spinning and weaving. I am
disappointed in that I wanted at least one to look more like a jacob
