Having had GPs for many, many years I personally would never consider
keeping a dog like you described.  These type actions start when the pup is
very young - you stop that type behavior before it develops futher.  Someone
once said bad behavior as a pup develops into uncontrolable behavior as an
adult dog. Look at this page - this to me is very best of a LGD's actions.
