Actually, I thought she was black. Since I knew she had not been
sheared for a couple of years, I attributed the fading to sunbleach.
I was sort of hoping she was going to be dark because I have all
the lilacs I need at the moment. 

"Black Lilly" (although "Fading Lilly" might have been more appropriate)
has dark eyes. With a haircut, she is way dark all over, about 70%.
But it very quickly begins to silver out. It gives her a kempy look
at first.

Strange girl... but then, they are all a little odd, aren't they? ;-)
