[Jacob-list] horn question

Cathy and all -

I'm posting some closeups of a horn of one of my rams.  Both rams show this type of 
configuration which looks like what you are talking about. These pictures are from Groucho who 
shows it best as his horns are massive. Zeppo also shows something similiar.  Both have "pits" 
or "holes" or whatever term you want to use.  I don't consider it anything but normal wear.  
I'd be interested in hearing what anyone else has to say
