Argus 3.0.8 Debian packages postinst error (original issues remain)

I downloaded the latest version dated 26-Aug-2014 19:02
- argus-3.0.8.tar.gz (MD5: 2ea98b80b8ee119236127dac11a05952)
- argus-clients-3.0.8.tar.gz (MD5: 0f13e540550cf456c5292846c34b01c6)

I ran through the Debian package building process with these latest versions, and the same issues remain:

1. In argus-3.0.8, the debian/ subdir still has incorrect permissions and the package build fails until I add write permissions. This issue does not affect argus-clients-3.0.8.

2. In argus-clients-3.0.8, the init.d files are still set to Provides: argus. Whilst the package builds, it does not install correctly in Debian. I re-attach the patch I provided on 23-Aug-2014 following the response from John.
