Well, since I have to make major fixes to the port, I might as well update 
it to the current version as well.  So, I'll do that before I do anything 
else.

I don't know if you want to patch your code for ENGINE=MyISAM, but it 
should, at a minimum, be selectable based on which version of mysql is 
installed.  In 5.5 TYPE=MyISAM is a fatal error during table creation.
