I just installed (actually just dragged our Linux person in and
convinced him to install and secure) Red Hat 6.2 on my test box in addition to
FreeBSD and OpenBSD. It appears to have a correctly operating bpf.c (or
equivelent) because it sees the 9 packet file just fine. It also (on two
attempts so far) captures %100 of the files at 100 megs. I'll have to do the
disk benchmarks and etc. on it as well.
