Thanks Bob- Actually, I have a R129 CD manual (don't remember where or when 
 I got it)  and I remember using it a few years ago, but now I have a newer 
 computer (Vista) and it won't run with this OS.

I seem to recall that someone had posted a website  for a  service/workshop 
manual for the R129 cars  (mine is '92  500SL).  Does  anyone have that 
address?

You have at least a couple choices for a  manual...
_www.mbusa.com_ (http://www.mbusa.com/)  has the 129 DVD available for  
around $85.  Runs on PC only BUT, no support/won't run under  WIN7-
Or you can get an annual subscription  specifically for your model year 
from _www.alldatadiy.com_ (http://www.alldatadiy.com/)  It's essentially the  
same as the DVD, just a different delivery method; costs around $18/yr and 
has  both multi-year, and multi-car discounts.  Happy wrenching-
