[R129 SL] R129 remote failure

I had this problem and order a new keypatch  with new cylinder. It costs about 300 $ When I would let it install they told me I allso needed a new contactswitch and special bracket for 300 $ while I have seen that the mechanic replaced the cylinder in my E class in 60 seconds. I have greased my lock two times after each other with graphite powder that I blow into the gap and it is working now for more than 5 years without problems. I use a new keypart what goes into the lock! The cylinder lays 5 years in my garage because its special made for my key. ;Jan first flying dutchmen
