[R129 SL] Removing the plastic lower cover on the outside of the door

R129 Fans -

Can anyone tell me how to remove the plastic lower cover on the outside of
the door on my 2000 SL500 Sport?  I need to access the two adjustment holes
in the door to move the power window inward to make a tighter seal.
