[R129 SL] Tire question

I went through "hell" trying to get my 98 SL500 to not shake as if the tires were out of balance...turned out to be the rear shocks...now perfectly smooth...don't forget to check that option out....

  Question for the experts: 

  My 2000 SL500 Sport shakes like the alignment is off when I first start driving, but then after a mile or so of driving the problem goes away and the car rides just fine. I feel the wobble in my seat. The Z rated tires are pressured to spec and they have decent tread on them. If the alignment was off or if I had lost a wheel weight, then I wouldn't expect the problem to melt away as the car warmed up. Any ideas?
