The speed sensor is also used for the safety ness off your soft top. If some
of the switches are not closed and there is movement, the alarm signal in
the soft top switch goes on to warn you. Then if your hardtop is installed
it may not open during driving ( looks like an F16 is using the shoot chair
with parachute)
and also the soft top may not open above a certain speed. So I suppose your
soft top module came in blocking position because it got no speed signal.
It is also when you have problems with the soft top, and the stand is in
memory, driving some inches will help to reset the system.

        You are great...works just like it did before it fell out. And my
soft top started
working again also. Must be some connection between the two items.
