[R129 SL] SL280 roll bar stuck up

I had a problem with the central locking which seemed to clear on its own
but when testing everything I activated the manual roll bar switch. The roll
bar went up (not sure if it is all the way) but now both lights on the roll
bar switch and on the the hood switch are permanently illuminated. I had a
similar problem some time ago, but with the bar down, after changing a
battery and my garage reset the error codes and all returned to normal. I
believe there is a way to read and reset the codes through the 37 pin
connector with an LED but can't find the information. Can anyone help before
I have to drive a long way to my garage and spend lots of money for him to
do a 10 second reset!
