Jonathan;

Thanks for the info.! I'm going to give that a shot - I'll let you know how it works out. It's been kind of hot here so the A/C runs all the time. That could be the problem. Hope all is well in your end of the world.

Cheers,

Greg

  Hi Greg!
  From Concord, New Hampshire, I own a '93 300SL second owner about 68k and counting. I have had the same thing happen several times before. It seems to have a lot to do with water, condensation, and false readings caused grung build up on the contact points on the fuses. I finally replaced all fuses bow to stern, sprayed all of it down with a light spray of WD-40, and have not experienced that problem again.

    Hello to all! Greetings from sunny So. Cal. here! I have a little
    electrical glitch that I thought I would see if anyone had a similar
    situation...

    I have a 91 500 SL with about 42K miles on it. Wonderful car, fantastic
    condition. However, when I started it up the other day, it started right
    up, then all the lights in the dash went on for a split second, then the car
    died. I started it right back up, and it worked fine. A couple of days
    later, it did it again. One more time, I started it right back up and I was
    on my way.

    Anything electrical seems expensive to me, but I'd be interested in hearing
    any similar stories. Thanks to all for your past help!

    Cheers,

    Greg Conte
    West Hills, CA
