[R129 SL] R129 Cosole Trim

The top control switch on my 96 SL is low in the console and the fiber optic illumination of the shift lever position is out of alignment. I would like to fix this, but I do not know how to remove/replace the console trim - I mean the wood covered section. I know how to do that on my 300E, but I have no tech literature for the SL. Can anyone help me?
