Hi Bill;
While you give the age of your car, you did not give the mileaes on the
engine, which would be a help in guessing the problem.

The first thing (and least expensive thing) would be to make sure the fuel
is fresh and perhaps drain the old fuel and refill, adding a bottle of
Techron.  Then DRIVE THE CAR at highway speeds for a while.

If that doesn't cure the problem, THEN I would look into replacing the fuel
filter or go deeper into the problem.
