I never owned one I have a  '66 230Sl(Euro) 2-'71 280sl '72 350sl  '76 450 
sl'84 380sl (Euro) 86'560sl (sold) '91 500sl 3-'94 E-320 Cabriolets(no  need for 
hoist)Always somebody around to help take off hard tops.  Lee  Casper
