[R129 SL] Hardtop compatibility

Mine top did some strange things not too long ago and much as I hate to  
admit it - - I pulled out the manual and followed it step by step -  -   car off, 
door open, ignition on and so  forth.
 
Although I'd never had to be that persnickety before that I recall--but  
those are the steps I needed to follow. Activating the soft top up and down  
requires none of those same shenanigans.
