[R129 SL] Hard ride

Check the rubber shock top mounts under the hood..they crack prematurely and
are easy to replace

My '96 SL600 (I'm a new owner) has a (1) hard ride and (2) hip-hop motion
longitudinally like the shocks are not working. The car only has 35K so the
shocks are fine; the problem is almost certainly in the air ride feature of
the suspension. I had a similar feature on a BMW M6 and it was troublesome.
I have ordered the MB CD-ROM for this car but it has not yet arrived. I
would like to have some input before I take it to a shop for repair.
