I'll take you on the Rubicon Trail sometime in my 80 Series. I guarantee
you'll find the truck anything but boring. Unless you count zero breakage
as boring, while at the same time having to rescue multiple Jeeps and Land
Rovers that broke so bad they couldn't get off the trail without help...
;-)

But yeah, I gotta agree, they are so reliable and well-built that they
almost do seem boring, since you never have to take them in for repairs or
experience catastrophic failures while driving down the road!

  Derek;

  You are right - Toyota builds great stuff. Boring, but superior build
quality. I was mostly talking about that thing that makes a Mercedes a
Mercedes. The same goes for a Porsche or Ferrari, etc. - there's something
inherent about the way they were put together. I bought my wife a 2000
Isuzu Trooper with all the bells & whistles and it's been a fantastic
vehicle. We put 180K miles on her other one. No snob here either, but I
don't think joining the Toyota Camry Club has the same pizzazz as the MBZ
club!  So, there you go....

  Cheers,

  GC
