I'm sure you'll get lots of response. The battery on my 91 is in the trunk,
right hand side under the carpeting
and a molded cover. The cover unscrews from the underside top. The battery
itself is recessed, in the spot just behind the wheel well.

the "proper" tool for opening the vent caps (should you have that kind of
battery) is a quarter.

for a manual,
I just came across a CD on Ebay that went for about 10 bucks that is
probably a good primer on the vehicle and it's systems.

Good luck

Dear sirs

I ‘m a new -94 500 sl owner since last summer and I am very pleased so far.

A couple of months ago I put it away for the winter and now the battery seem
to
be drained out.

Where can I find the battery ? My Manual is German and I cant make much out
of
it. Anything particular I should think of when charging it like
disconnecting
something ?

What are your tip and suggestions when conserving the car for the winter
about 4
months/year. Im keeping it covered in a warm garage with good ventilation.

Does anyone have a manual/shopmanual in english in pdf or word format ? If
so,
can you share it ?
Otherwise are they available for purchase on the net somewhere ?
It would be nice to have a full workshop documentation of the car.

Many thanks in advance
