[R129 SL] Battery charging. winter preseving etc.

Dear sirs

I ‘m a new -94 500 sl owner since last summer and I am very pleased so far.

A couple of months ago I put it away for the winter and now the battery seem to
be drained out.

Where can I find the battery ? My Manual is German and I cant make much out of
it.  Anything particular I should think of when charging it like disconnecting 
something ?

What are your tip and suggestions when conserving the car for the winter about 4
months/year. Im keeping it covered in a warm garage with good ventilation.

Does anyone have a manual/shopmanual in english in pdf or word format ? If so,
can you share it ? 
Otherwise are they available for purchase on the net somewhere ?
It would be nice to have a full workshop documentation of the car.
