Oil consumption in M119 engines is rare.  They don't have the valve
guide/valve seal issues that 103/104 116/117 engines have.

no it doesn't use any oil
 
I did the fuel pressure test today. it never waivered, so now we're back
to plug wires.  I think that is going to do the trick, and since they're
12 years old, it's time anyway.

Does your sl use oil ? Could be rings.  0ne bad cylinder will cause the
stumble' even after you replace everything else.            L. CASPER
