[R129 SL] 1991 500sl sputtering, asc light

I had the same problem a couple years ago on my 91 500SL. Very intermittent,
but scary when I lost all power on the highway. Dealer replaced ignition
switch and problem went away for good.

Satish, all:

My SL has started occassionally (of course) losing power, accelerator pedal
stiffens up, 
ASC light comes on....weird stuff....I pull over, turn off, and restart and
all's fine...I'm 
guessing electrical and will replace that fuse for good measure...any other
ideas???
