No, the newer Motronic cluster itself may not fit, HOWEVER, the housing
may. You should be able to insert your current dials into the newer
housing to retain the carbon fiber look.

The '92 and the '02 might have the same pinouts but there is one
difference. Instead of the oil pressure indicator it now has an oil temp
indicator. I would thing this might prevent you from swapping it.

Will an instrument cluster unit from a Silver Arrow fit a standard 129
(specifically a '92 500SL)? The pinouts in the back look identical but
my dealer says no.
