I have made such adapters for a Century Graphic using a lenshood and plywood
to fit a longer lens than nature intended. The weight of the shutter/lens
extended beyond the front standard exerts a turning moment which you need to
be aware of. I made a larger adapter for a Linhof with fixed bellows using a
section cut from rainwater pipe and later a shallower extension made from a
section of a large lenshood. These components were joined together with 2
part resin and I was careful with the joints, not wanting a large lens to
fall off into the mud.. I think there is a professional top hat extension
panel in Linhof/Wista fit offered I think by Robt White or another dealer of
the same calibre. Philip
As to Ebay -it caused me problems lately and I am leaving it alone.
