     I am relieved to hear the Technika front mount is that strong. I am
thinking of making a similar accessory for the Kardan E to adapt a long
focus lens for portraits and this gives me confidence. If the camera springs
apart like a busted concertina and drops the lens on the concrete floor I
will come after you with a spear....

    I note that you consider behemoths and leviathans as standard fare.
Ahem. Did you really mean to admit that? Okay, the occasional cocktail
leviathan on a stick or leviathan omlette ( use a lot of eggs ) but don't
tell everyone or they'll all want one and then Greenpeace will get all
snorty again.
