Have I missed something here? Any list that is dedicated to a particular 
subject can easily spiral out of control if it goes too far off topic. 
Humour is a particularly related to cultures and on the whole doesn't 
travel too well. So here we have a case of a thread going off topic AND 
using humour. Recipe for disaster then.......

Any list that sticks too closely to rigid topic boundaries can soon become 
stifling and potentially boring so a little banter is  fine. We have to be 
aware that some subjects can appear offensive even though there was no such 
intention.

Let's get back on track and some of us need to lighten up a little please.
