Dear David,
You were looking at a 450 Nikkor M. I purchased a 135 Nikkor W and took
it down to the seaside for a holiday. It was obviously very happy to be
there as it produced some fabulous images of the sunset. No flare whatsoever
with the sun right in frame and no little aperture images.
The Copal shutter also seemed a very steady and accurate device -
altogether a nice lens.
