Dear Nephew Philip,

     WELL I can see why they laugh at you at family barbeques! Talk about
helpless. I can see Kindly Olde Uncle Dick (TM) will have to take you under
his armpit and explain how to get fresnel screens.

    The secret is not Calumet, or Edmund Scientific, or Henry's Radio. (
That one is for the UK readers, If you are old enough to remember Henry's
Radio you are old enough.)

    The secret is OPC Supply Co. You simply find someone who has the same
cameras as yours with the appropriate screen in the back. Then you buy them
a pint of cheap lager. While they are distracted by drinking you unscrew the
fresnel screen from the camera and pocket it. This is why you ALWAYS take
your jeweller's screwdriver kit with you.

    When you are adept at this I'll explain how to get rear elements from
some of the world's most expensive lenses for use in experiments.
